Modern Slavery Policy
Last Updated: July 1, 2023
Loopio Inc., together with Loopio UK Ltd. (previously Avnio Ltd.), and all other affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “Loopio”) is committed to improving transparency into our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. Loopio is a global provider of a cloud-based request for proposal (RFP) solution. This Modern Slavery Policy (this “Policy”) is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Loopio’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending January 31, 2024, and will continue to apply until amended.
Our approach to modern slavery is facilitated by a top-down mandate. This Policy has been reviewed and approved by Loopio’s Risk and Audit Board Committee.
Loopio has a zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values and ethics, we have a dedicated team to monitor and enforce compliance with this Policy, which consists of representatives from the following departments:
- People Operations
This Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
Loopio takes an active approach to its corporate responsibility. For example, at the point of recruitment, appropriate checks, in accordance with relevant laws, are carried out on prospective employees and our People Team works closely with the relevant teams in the local territories to make sure that compensation, holidays, pay and conditions are appropriately managed and compliant with legal and societal norms in the various jurisdictions that Loopio operates in around the world.
Further, we have the following policies in place that underpin our commitment to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business:
- Employee Policy Handbook
- Environment Sustainability Policy
- Employee Code of Conduct
- Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy
We continuously review and update each of the foregoing policies.
Our Supply Chain Initiative
To date, Loopio has not had any identified instances of modern slavery or human trafficking within our operations or that of our partners. We are in the process of reviewing whether to adopt a Supplier Code of Conduct and/or implement applicable training, and if we feel it is appropriate for us to implement the foregoing, we will update our processes accordingly.
Our Ongoing Commitment
Loopio’s efforts to combat the issue of modern slavery and human trafficking will continue to be ongoing, evolving, and continually improving. Loopio will continue to review its human rights efforts, as well as best practices in the marketplace, to understand how it can further strengthen our commitments under this Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time to reflect changes to our internal practices. The revised Policy will be posted on this website. We strongly encourage you to refer to this Policy often for the latest information about our practices.
