Loopicon Terms and Conditions

As a registered attendee, speaker, sponsor, or participant at Loopio Inc’s (“Loopio”) Loopicon Conference 2022 (“Loopicon”), you agree to follow the terms and conditions as set out herein. We appreciate your cooperation to help ensure a safe environment for all Loopicon participants.‍


All attendees must be registered for Loopicon through Airmeet, Loopicon’s registration provider. A link to the registration page is provided here and on the Loopicon website. You will receive a registration confirmation email at the email address you provide during registration.‍


Loopio in its sole discretion, and without any liability or obligation to refund, reserves the right to refuse participation to or to remove access to Loopicon to anyone that it determines, at its sole discretion:

  • has registered under false or erroneous pretenses (e.g. using another attendee’s name, using another employer name etc.)
  • is behaving in a manner that could disrupt, hinder or cause a nuisance to Loopicon or to the enjoyment of any other person or partner at Loopicon;
  • represents a security or health & safety risk to Loopicon or to any person or partner;
  • participates in any form of harassment, which includes offensive verbal comments or actions related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention; and
  • fails to comply with, or is likely to fail to comply with, these terms.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws in connection with your access to or participation in Loopicon.


By attending Loopicon, you acknowledge and agree that where your participation in the interactive elements of Loopicon is by choice and your participation amounts to granting consent to Loopio to store recordings for any or all webinars or video conferences that you join, if such recordings are in our systems. You will receive a notification (visual or otherwise) when recording is enabled. If you do not consent to being recorded, you can choose to leave the conference or webinar. You agree to permit us, or any third party licensed by us, to use, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise globally disseminate your likeness, name, voice and words in perpetuity in television, radio, film, newspapers, magazines and other media now available and hereafter developed, both before, during and any time after Loopicon, and in any form, without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit the media, the right to use the media (alone or together with other information), and the right to allow others to use or distribute the media.

Recording of audio or video of sessions at Loopicon is not permitted and you undertake not to record or capture any sessions of Loopicon.

All Loopicon attendees, speakers, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online web content.‍


Loopio shall own and / or possess a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty free licence to use and distribute: (a) all content prepared for and in connection with Loopicon; and (b) all materials distributed at or in connection with Loopicon. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce Loopicon’s content or any trademarks without Loopio’s prior written permission.

During Loopicon, you may be dealing with confidential information and you agree to keep such information in the strictest of confidence.‍

Third party links

While participating in Loopicon, the webinar may contain links to third parties and to contributions uploaded by participants, including videos, images, descriptions, links and other content. We are not responsible or liable to these third party sites, and you should review any terms and conditions when entering those sites or viewing their content.

Usage terms

Access to Loopicon requires compatible devices, and certain software (including third party software) may be required or may need updates, and your access to Loopicon may be affected by the performance of these elements.


Loopio is committed to protecting the privacy of its attendees and participants. All registration and attendee information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering for Loopicon, you agree to give consent to Loopio to collect, process, and use your personal data for the purposes of Loopicon and for any other use to which you have consented.

Without limitation to any of the terms of our Privacy Policy, Loopio will not sell the attendee’s personal data to any third parties; however, Loopio may use or share attendee’s personal data with affiliates and/or trusted business partners, including without limitation, agents and service providers with whom Loopio has engaged for Loopicon. ‍


You acknowledge and agree that views expressed by speakers at or in connection with Loopicon are their own and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for any advice given or views expressed during or in connection with Loopicon.

Materials shared or distributed at or in connection with Loopicon are intended for information purposes only and should not be relied upon by you or others. We do not provide any guarantees, conditions or warranties that the materials are complete or accurate and do not accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of Loopicon and/or any information provided at Loopicon. Loopio will have no liability to you and hereby disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, express or implied for Loopicon.‍


You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us and our respective employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors harmless from all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, that arise out of or are related to any breach of the terms by you or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of your attendance or participation or access to Loopicon.

Governing law and jurisdiction

The interpretation, formation and operation of the terms and all non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, and all disputes between the parties arising out of or in any way relating to the terms or any disputes between the parties in any way connected with the subject matter of these terms (whether contractual or non-contractual) shall be governed by, the laws of Ontario.

Each of the parties submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Canada.


Loopio reserves the right to modify terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, as well as other places we deem appropriate, so that you are aware of the changes.‍‍


Complaints can be made to loopicon@loopio.com. We will endeavor to resolve any customer complaints where reasonable.
