Environmental Factors

At Loopio, we make responsible choices with our business operations to drive sustainability excellence across our business. We do this by setting guidelines for how we manage and grow our business with the support of all Loopio employees, suppliers, and partners. Loopio supports and encourages efforts to reduce our impact on the environment.

The following principles will guide our decisions and promote the continued development of our environmental workplace practices:

  • Continually develop innovative solutions to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment;
  • Support a ‘remote work’ company, reducing the need for employees to drive to and from work;
  • Organize and visually promote our own office and kitchen waste with a comprehensive recycling system;
  • Promote and fund the use of technology for a paperless workplace;
  • Reduce non-essential business travel where feasible through the use of technologies such as videoconferencing; and
  • Educate our employees about environmental issues and Loopio’s impacts, policy, and initiatives.

Social Factors

Human Rights (including modern slavery)

Loopio is committed to improving transparency into our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. Loopio is dedicated to ensuring the protection of basic human rights in all its aspects of business. Loopio’s Modern Slavery Statement reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains. Health and Safety

Loopio is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe working environment. Loopio adheres to all applicable laws and leading health and safety standards, and we require all of our employees to complete health and safety training. Loopio has also established a Joint Health and Safety Committee) to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all, as well as our compliance with the foregoing commitment.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB)

At Loopio, we take valuable time to measure diversity and inclusion in all of its forms. Equal opportunity is integral to our recruitment process, and we seek to maintain a positive workplace, free from discrimination and inclusive of fairness, and equality. It’s important to us that we regularly engage with our employees and key stakeholders to understand how diverse our workforce is, as well as how equitable and inclusive Loopio is for employees of all backgrounds and identities. Loopio’s DEIB Annual Report is available here.

Community Engagement

Loopio encourages participation in its Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) which are internal groups that come together over a shared interest in supporting and amplifying the experiences of a certain group. Our ERGs include Breathing Space (Mental Health), Gradients (Diversity), Loopio Women’s Network (Women and their allies), and Rainbow Spectrum (LGBTQ2S+).

Loopio regularly hosts events through these ERGs to build out opportunities for its employees to engage with each other and the broader community. The mission of our ERGs is to partner Loopio with the broader community to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
