Our Mission

Loopio’s purpose-built AI, powerful integrations, and collaborative workflows help you deliver the trustworthy answers and data-backed insights you need to stand out and shine in every response.

Loopio was founded in 2014 by three friends: Zak Hemraj, Matt York, and Jafar Owainati. Their goal when building Loopio was simple: help RFP teams manage their content and deliver stellar proposals.

Loopio reached its first major inflection point after raising venture capital with OpenView, which helped our organization accelerate from bootstrapped startup to a new phase of growth.

In 2019, we launched our first annual conference, called Loopicon. The event brought together more than 150 industry leaders to share insights and explore new ways to improve the response process.

At the beginning of the global pandemic, Loopio made the shift to become a remote-first workplace in March of 2020—and we’ve never looked back.

Loopio joined forces with Sumeru Equity Partners, receiving an investment that would help Loopio advance product development, expand into new markets, and grow the team.

Loopio made its first acquisition, an RFP solution called Avnio, which led to new product capabilities, as well as an expanded global presence in the UK and India.

While the world has changed since Loopio was founded in 2014, our core tenets still hold true. Loopio is guided by respect and care for all people—and a dedication to our customers. Today, we proudly serve more than 1,700 global companies.
